With over ten years of industry experience, I provide a diverse range of creative and technical solutions to a variety of clients. In doing so I strive to develop a user experience that is functional, intuitive, usable and accessible, balanced with an interface design that is elegant, effective and engaging.

My areas of focus include information architecture, user experience and interface design, SEO, link building, copywriting client- and server-side development and database design. I also have a passion for usability, branding, iconography and typography.

My research interests include Cloud technologies, Pervasive Computing, Service Oriented Architecture and Web Services, Information Retrieval (IR), and Large Scale Distributed systems. Generally, anything related to distributed and semantic systems architecture and design.

In the beginning…

After six years at various established web design agencies in Leicester and London, I decided to go alone and am currently enjoying the benefits of self-employment.

I embrace technology, web standards, support the open source movement, and actively participate in and contribute to the social web.
